Jack can't wait to stay at the farm! But when he gets there, the animals are a bit bigger than he imagined. Will he be able to face his fears and still have an awesome time?

Filled with true-to-life situations, warm family relationships, humorous illustrations and positive problem-solving, the Billie B. Brown series took the early reader scene by storm! Brand-new readers readily related to this series of stand-alone, everyday adventures featuring Billie B. Brown.

Hey Jack! is a companion early reader series featuring Billie B. Brown’s best friend, Jack. The books are full of down-to-earth, real-life, fun and funny stories that children can enjoy and relate to. With word art or illustrations on every second page, and no huge blocks of text or intimidating words, they're perfect for newly independent readers.

From a parent:
This series is fantastic. It fills a hole in the market for readers who are past three letter words, but not ready for 100 page chapter books. They also deal with topics that 5-7 year olds are facing, anxiety about social situations, worrying about hard spelling tests, making new friends, etc. The Hey Jack! books helped my 5 year old get past some very strong perfectionist issues and he really felt that he accomplished a tremendous feat when he finished his first book. I would highly recommend this series to any parent who is helping their new reader.

From a teacher:
These books make my 6 year olds feel like super heroes! They can read the text fairly easily and thoroughly enjoy the stories. I'm a huge fan of the wonderful life lessons learned in each book as well.
